  1. Another vote for GODS OF THE NOWHERE: A NOVEL OF HALLOWEEN by James Tipper. Not just spooky, but actually about Halloween. This book completely changes how you look at Halloween. It’s like Bradbury’s HALLOWEEN TREE on steroids. Legend, history, fantasy and horror. I’m reading it again this year!

  2. For years I’ve made a point of reading something spooky in October – LOVE this idea! One of my favorites: “Something Wicked This Way Comes,” by Ray Bradbury. Also, “The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane” by Laird Koenig.
