We are so excited for this contest! We’ve been drawing doodles for All Hallow’s Read for weeks, and now we have a use for them.

  2. Here is the poster that I made for our All Hallow’s Read event taking place in connection with Naked Girls Reading: Neil Gaiman on October 27th in San Francisco.
Last Gasp Books will be onhand selling a variety of Neil Gaiman and other spooky book titles.

The “allhallowsreadposter” tag is bringing up only one poster in a Flickr search, which seems odd, as I know there are more. Here’s mine: http://www.flickr.com/photos/30044541@N02/

This is all awfully fun, by the way.

    • Audrey says:

Yeah, I noticed that too. I sent a message to Flickr’s help system to see if they could do anything but all I got back was a generic message today saying

“I see from what you’ve explained, you’re unable to find
search results for other photos that have the “allhallowsreadposter” tag in Flickr. Thank you very much for your communication and continued patience, and
I’m very sorry if this has caused you any inconvenience.

The settings are correctly set up by each photo’s owner.
However, due to our privacy policy, we cannot tell you why these other two photos are not appearing when the tag is searched.”

      Which is ever so helpful.

  4. Josephine Holroyd says:

Yeah I’ve found that the tag is only bringing up one poster too. Here’s mine:

  9. Tammy says:

Halloween is in 4 days. Why is there still a link to submitting a poster and not a link to the actual winning poster? Waiting until Halloween to announce a winner is a bit late, isn’t it?

  10. Here is my submission:

The linocut is a variation of an image that was used with a poem entitled, “Death of the Book”. Now THAT’s a scary thought!

  13. Here is the link to my poster. I’m having similar issues, with only a few posters showing when I search the tag.

    • Hello hello. I’ve been thinking about the apostrophe for “All Hallow’s Day” and I’m pretty sure that it might actually be better placed after the “s” and placing it before the “s” stops the word “Hallows” from being pural which it actually needs to be. Probably better not to have one at all to avoid irritating those who hate a misplaced punctuation mark. I should imagine that those designs (mine included) with text added digitally can be easily changed. What do you think?

  14. Chloe says:

I thought I’d enter one. This seems like such a cool contest! I hope mine’s okay. =)

  18. Just so everyone knows, Flickr does seem to be missing out entries even if they have been tagged appropriately. Hopefully everyone who entered on Flickr also posted here……

  19. Amy Houser says:
